Trisha Ford, a 17-year head coaching veteran and four-time conference coach of the year, is in her fifth season leading the Texas A&M softball program. She was named the Aggies’ 10th head coach on June 7, 2022, following previous coaching stops at Arizona State, Fresno State, Stanford and Saint Mary’s. On May 5, USA Softball announced Ford was selected to the U.S. Women’s National Team coaching pool for the 2025-28 quad.
Since her arrival in Aggieland, Ford has guided the Maroon & White to a 165-66 record, including a 59-36 mark in SEC play, with four NCAA Tournament appearances, the program's first SEC Tournament championship as a member of the conference in 2025 and the program's first national No. 1 overall seed. Her tenure has produced five NFCA All-Americans, 22 NFCA All-Region selections and 17 All-SEC honorees. In four seasons under Ford, Texas A&M has appeared in the top 25 in 58 of 63 weekly polls, including its first-ever No. 1 ranking in both the NFCA and ESPN polls. Ford became the third-fastest coach to lead a new program to the top spot in the ESPN poll era, reaching the milestone in just 159 games. Texas A&M has won 16 of 24 SEC series during her tenure and owns the second-most SEC victories (32) in the conference over the past two seasons.
She will join us for our regular meeting this Wednesday, August 19th at noon. The meeting will be held at the Phillips Event Center. Come out to greet Coach Ford!

President's Message
Mark Browning
"I look forward to a productive year as we Create Lasting Impact both locally, nationally, and internationally. We cannot do this without each other so ask where you can personally put "service above self" by volunteering with one of our club committees, serving on the Board/leadership and/or helping with Field of Valor and Flags Across Bryan distribution and pickup."
