Join us on March 4th for a Rotary Club luncheon featuring Brian Parks.  Bryan has been an I.T. services consultant and provider in the Brazos Valley for 16 years.  He specializes in data security, preventative maintenance, and maximizing productivity through technology for small-medium businesses ranging from a family owned dental office to investment firms with hundreds of computers.  His comprehensive services provide the flexibility for local businesses to partner with an experienced I.T. provider rather than needing to hire an on-site systems administrator.

Most people know that clicking on dubious links while online or in email can lead to viruses, malware, "hackers," or scams, but even the best practices online cannot protect you from every pitfall.  With his exposure to many different types of businesses, Brian has observed recent patterns of planned and targeted scams towards individuals and businesses that could have been prevented through better security and education.  Brian hopes to share with you his knowledge of some of the more common yet lesser known scams that are prevalent today.
