This week at the Philip's Event Center we will be hearing from Caleb Miller about Texas A&M Formula Electric. Caleb Miller is a class of 2025 Mechanical Engineer from Winnsboro, Texas.
Texas A&M Formula Electric is a multidisciplinary student team at Texas A&M University. Each year, they design, manufacture, and race a formula-style electric vehicle.
Our purpose is to cultivate students into high-quality engineers through the full-scale development of a high-performing electric formula-style vehicle with year-over-year improvement of the program.
StageCenter Theatre, located in Historic Downtown Bryan, is the oldest live theatre company in the Bryan/College Station area. Celebrating our 60th year, it has been a pillar of the local arts scene, producing high-quality performances that entertain and inspire. From timeless classics to contemporary works, StageCenter brings stories to life while providing opportunities for local talent to shine both on and off the stage.
As a nonprofit, 100% volunteer-run organization, StageCenter thrives on the support of its community. The theatre is funded through ticket sales, underwriting, donors, memberships, advertisers, and partnerships with local businesses and organizations. Last year, we relied on over 9,500 hours of volunteer time across our productions, programs, and events. These contributions ensure that StageCenter can continue offering engaging performances, maintain its space, and provide opportunities for involvement, from acting and directing to behind-the-scenes production roles. Through this community support, StageCenter remains a vital part of the cultural fabric of the Brazos Valley.
