Please join us on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at noon at The Phillips Event Center as we celebrate one of Rotary’s most meaningful traditions—the Passing of the Gavel.
We will honor the outstanding service of our current Club President, Melissa Green, whose dedication, heart, and leadership have guided our club through a successful year of service and fellowship. We will also welcome incoming President Mark Browning as he assumes leadership and begins an exciting new chapter for our club.
We hope you will join us on June 24 as we thank Melissa for her remarkable contributions and show our support for Mark as he embarks on his year of leadership.
Congratulations, President Mark Browning! We look forward to your guidance with great anticipation.
Summer Hungry Project
As summer begins and our children and grandchildren are home from school, many local families face an increased challenge in keeping food on the table. The Brazos Food Bank’s Summer Hungry Project helps fill that gap for school-aged children who may no longer have access to school meals. Rotary members can make a meaningful difference by simply adding a few nonperishable food items to their shopping carts during their regular grocery trips. A few extra cans, boxes, or pantry staples may seem small, but together our collective generosity can help ensure that no child in our community goes hungry this summer. We are collecting these items at every Wednesday lunch meeting for the next couple of weeks.
Flags Across Bryan – Independence Day Delivery Reminder
The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and it's time once again for Bryan Rotary's Flags Across Bryan Independence Day flag placements.
This signature Rotary project creates a patriotic display throughout our community while raising funds that directly benefit Bryan ISD students and teachers. Proceeds from Flags Across Bryan help provide scholarships for local students and grants that support innovative classroom projects and educational opportunities.
As always, the success of this project depends on the dedication of our Rotary volunteers. We need members to assist with the delivery and placement of flags before Independence Day. Whether you can help with a portion of a route or stay for the entire delivery effort, your participation helps ensure that every sponsored flag is proudly displayed in time for the holiday.
For delivery schedules, route assignments, or any questions regarding the Fourth of July flag placements, please contact John Delaney directly.
Thank you for helping Bryan Rotary honor our nation's independence while supporting the students and educators who strengthen our community every day.
The Bryan Rotary Club Flags Across Bryan 2026 flag delivery service aims to blanket our designated route area with American flags on five holidays per year. This service project and fundraiser aims to SERVE the community through funds raised, to HONOR active military, Veterans, First Responders, and Healthcare workers for their selfless service through their vocation, and to EDUCATE students through teacher mini-grants and scholarships.
