Max Gerall was born in Houston Texas and is a member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2018. Max is a dedicated social entrepreneur with a passion for creating sustainable higher education ecosystems through the concept of “weaving” and community engagement. He is passionate about transforming lives by infusing – Respect, Empowerment, Aspiration, Community, and Hope. The REACH Project in the Texas A&M community is the first application of his vision, but it will not be the last.
This vision has enabled him to refine his skills in community engagement, visioning, strategic planning, storytelling, organizational development, fundraising, program development, and event management. In addition to the delivery of life skills education, his grand vision includes the design/construction of affordable housing communities around the country.
He is committed to marrying the compassion of philanthropy with the effectiveness and the efficiency of the business world, creating a successful and sustainable society. Max has developed an intense passion for giving back to communities around the world. “I have found my purpose in life and I am confident in my mission. “ But, it all starts at “home,” and right now, that’s Aggieland.

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Our vision is to put success within reach for our Club members and keep them on track to graduate from high school. We help them realize a positive plan for the future that includes good character, citizenship, and a healthy lifestyle.
None of our work would be possible without the vision of our founders, Mary Ann Parker, and the commitment of our dedicated Board of Directors, Committee Members, our dedicated staff, and our more than 800 corporate and individual volunteers. A private, nonprofit organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Brazos Valley relies on private, corporate, individual and grant funding to fill the gap between membership dues of just $15.00 per child per school year and our operational expenses.
Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow, all while having fun. We are truly The Positive Place for Kids.
