Today Sara Horton with SHIP (Shelter the Homeless International Projects) will tell us a little about herself as well as the great work SHIP is doing locally and in El Salvador. Sara Horton has been active in SHIP’s ministry since her first trip to El Salvador in 2008. Sara received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas A&M University and has taught at Texas A&M University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Blinn College. She serves on the Board of Trustees for her church, New Beginnings, in Bryan, and she also is an active member of the Junior League of Bryan-College Station where she has held leadership positions. Sara serves as SHIP’s director of development, and she also provides leadership for mission trips and other local activities. Learn more at shipinternational.org.
