Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo

Fiona Meyer has worked for the Brazos Valley Fair since it first began in 2012. Originally hired to oversee the marketing and promotion of the first Fair she quickly moved up to her current position as Senior Manager. Fiona is responsible for the general oversight of all aspects of the fair. Her biggest focus includes management of finances, security, and marketing, plus booking all entertainers and attractions. She also oversees all aspects of the rodeo, livestock shows and concerts for the Fair. Since starting the Fair in 2012 it has grown into a much-anticipated annual event the entire community can be proud of. During her time here Fiona has earned over 50 marketing awards in both International and State events for her promotion and marketing of the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo.

Fiona has international roots but has resided in Texas since 1982 when Texas A&M University Veterinary School drew her family to town. She has always had a love of agriculture since a young age, showing horses in multiple disciplines while growing up. She has an extensive background in beef cattle production and management that was developed during her years of raising and showing registered Hereford Cattle for one of the nation's largest Hereford seed stock operations. She has over 18 years of marketing experience and an extensive background in livestock management and operations. Prior to working at the Brazos Valley Fair, Fiona owned her own marketing company. Fiona brings a unique perspective to the Fair, with her experiences from every major livestock show across the US and Canada and has extensive knowledge of fairs from a breeder and exhibitors’ standpoint. Fiona attended A&M Consolidated High School and graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Biomedical Science and Animal Science.
