Club Assembly with presentation by Past Presidents

President Joe will conduct his first Cub Assembly. In recognition of the Club’s centennial,  Past Presidents Bunny Pratt  and Charles Gilliland  will speak about : Why Rotary ?

 

Jennifer Pratt, known as Bunny to her friends and colleagues, joined the Bryan Rotary Club in 2002. She quickly got involved with Club projects and served on the Board of Directors for many years before she was elected to serve as President during the 2010-2011 Rotary Year.  Bunny expanded her Rotary footprint by serving at the District level:

·        District Conference Chair (2009)

·        Assistant Governor

·        District Rotaract Chair

·        District Family of Rotary Chair

·        District Public Image Chair 

·        District Membership Chair (2019-2021)

·        RMDTI Rotary Multi-District Training Institute Board Member & Registrar

 

Bunny is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a Rotary Foundation Benefactor, and District Roll of Fame Recipient. Once upon a time she was a wedding coordinator at a Texas winery, but joined the 8-5 world of Health Insurance to gain better control of her work schedule. Bunny enjoys the camaraderie of her Rotarian friends and truly feels she is part of a great big Rotary Family.

Dr. Charles Gilliland (Charley), a native of Colorado, grew up on a cattle ranch and graduated from Regis College in Denver, Colorado with an A.B. degree in English Literature. After a detour to the Rio Grande Valley, Charley moved to Bryan/College Station to earn M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at Texas A&M University. He has expertise in land markets, property tax policy, and real estate appraisal. Charley taught in the Master of Real Estate program in the Mays School at Texas A&M University and currently serves as a Research Economist at the Real Estate Center also in the Mays School. 

 

Charley served the Bryan Texas Rotary Club as a Director and eventually President in 2013-14. He currently serves on the District 5910 Rotary Youth Exchange Committee and is an active supporter of Youth Exchange. Charley also serves as Assistant Governor for District 5910. He is a Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Paul Harris Society. Charley is a recognized member of the District 5910 Roll of Fame.
