District 14 Update

Paul Dyson is a distinguished legal expert and energy industry veteran with deep-rooted connections to Bryan-College Station, Texas. Since 2014, Paul has served as the General Counsel for Dyson Energy Group, a family-owned oil and gas exploration and production company. He brings a wealth of experience in coordinating legal, financial, and regulatory matters. His role also extends to managerial duties for the company and other family ventures.

Paul’s educational journey began in the halls of St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Allen Academy.  He continued his education at Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelors of Science in Political Science and later a Masters of Business Administration. Furthering his legal aspirations, he obtained his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2007.

In 2022, Paul was elected to the Board of Directors for American Momentum Bank, where he serves on the Loan and Audit & Compliance Committees. He also joined Lawyers Title Company of Brazos County as a co-owner the same year.  In 2016, Paul was appointed to the College Station Parks and Advisory Board, where he served for two-terms and was voted in as vice-chair by his fellow committee members. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for Allen Academy and was President of the OPAS Board of Directors for Season 51.

Paul and his wife, Teri, are proud parents to two children, Jamey and Drew, and continue to be active members of their community. His multifaceted career, dedication to community service, and commitment to family paint a picture of a man deeply invested in the betterment of both his professional and personal communities.
