Charity of the Month

Brazos Valley Cares exists to invest in the veterans in our community. They want to see veterans and their families thrive. Through their Emergency Reserve Fund, organizational grants, and community events, they aim to provide for a variety of needs, such as mental health, financial assistance, and emergency support.

They operate with a 100% volunteer board and keep operational expenses to a minimum. The BVC Board works diligently to ensure a maximum amount of all donations goes directly to investing in Brazos Valley veterans and their families. Their mission is sustained by the generosity of our community.

Brazos Valley Cares serves those who have served our nation. Veterans dedicate themselves to our nation, and BVC stands ready to serve Brazos Valley veterans. They invest in them and make the Brazos Valley a wonderful place to be a veteran.

They accept applications from Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) and entities that provide services to Brazos Valley veterans. By providing these organizations grants, they exponentially increase the impact of donor dollars.

They host a number of events and activities throughout the year to achieve our mission and to cultivate relationships. Our signature event is the yearly Steak Your Support dinner.
