Rotary Business 10 2017 Winner

Exothermix began as the Rechargeable Battery Corporation.  After 27 years and 2 major pivots, they have finally found their niche in energy storage and deployment: Safe Heating Anytime, Anywhere.  The self-heating efforts began in 2006 through a SBIR grant to develop a portable, simple and safe way to heat U.S. Army rations.  Four years later, the technology was far enough along to start focusing on industrializing the production process, making the bill of materials as safe as possible and extending the shelf-life.

In June 2017, the Bryan Rotary Business Performance Awards program recognized Exothermix as the fastest-growing business in the Brazos Valley.

The Exothermix leadership includes John D. White is the Chairman of the Board & President and Adam Laubach, Board Director & Secretary.
