BUILD

BUILD is a new tradition at Texas A&M University that aims to bring together the student body through a physically uniting project. This fall, the student body will come together to transform empty shipping containers into fully functioning mobile medical clinics call Texas Aggie Medical Clinics (TAMC's). We dedicate each TAMC in honor of one of the 12 students who died in the bonfire collapse of 1999. Last year we had over 1,000 student volunteers come together in support of our mission and build these units on A&M's campus.

Once the TAMC's are completed we ship them to Houston, TX where our non-profit partner, Medical Bridges, stocks each clinic with over $90,000 of recovered medical supplies and equipment. NGOs then send these units to places of medical need around the world. We have already completed 8 clinics that are already serving or en route to the countries of Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, Jamaica and Costa Rica.

BUILD has been a huge success but we need your help to raise $125,000 in order for us to complete the final 4 TAMC's this fall. As part of the Aggie network, we ask you to partner with us in our project of making a global impact while uniting the Aggie student body in remembrance of bonfire.
