Brandon Webb Biography (Oct. 5)

In 2013, Brandon Webb joined Bryan ISD as Director of Communications.  He was Prior to that, he served three years as associate director of communications and marketing for Blinn College.

 

He has enjoyed more than 20 years of blissful living in Bryan/College Station and served in media and communications roles for more than 13 years.

 

Webb earned two degrees from Texas A&M University—a BS in Animal Science (1998) and an MS in Science and Technology Journalism (2001).

He previously served as communications manager for the University of Texas at Dallas, covering the School of Natural Sciences & Mathematics and the Office of Research, along with other administrative and special assignments.

After an internship at the Smithsonian Institution, he served in communications for seven years at the Texas A&M University System’s Texas A&M Transportation Institute, writing research stories and outreach materials including scripts, speeches and public service announcements.

He’s also a passionate “radio guy,” having been a guest news anchor for three stations in Bryan/College Station and creating and hosting a turn-of-the-century, vintage country radio show at another station for seven years.

He is married, has two precious daughters, and boasts openly that he wears the chef’s hat around the house—even if it makes his girls giggle.
