District Governor's Visit

Doris Lockey retired as a Social Security Administration District Manager in 2010 after 42 years of federal service.   Doris has always been very involved in community service including serving as past president of Montgomery County United Way, past president of The Friendship Center, and Montgomery County representative on the HGAC Advisory Committee on Aging.

Doris joined Rotary Club of Conroe in August 2000 and transferred to Rotary Club of Lake Conroe in 2009. She is Past President of both of these clubs.   She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor, a member of the District 5910 Role of Fame and has perfect attendance for each year of her Rotary membership.  Her District 5910 service includes, Assistant Governor, Public Relations Chair, RYLA Registrar, District Newsletter Chair and Rotary Youth Exchange Outbound Coordinator, and District Governor for 2015-2016.

Doris is a native Texan and has been married to her husband, Wallace Lockey since June 1967.  They have a son, a daughter and two granddaughters.  Wallace is retired and joined Rotary in 2011.  He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and Benefactor.
