Flag Field Volunteers will assemble to uncap ground sleeves, unfurl, post, and tag 1000 American flags. The flags are 3ft by 5ft and attached to 10 foot metal poles. Volunteer groups are encouraged to wear matching organizational t-shirts.

Field Trip Volunteers will primarily be Guides or Station Hosts. Guides will help escort a letter group of 5th grade students clockwise through 10 historically themed tour stations along the memorial trail at Veterans Park. Station hosts will read the prepared script or help facilitate a specific activity (i.e. worksheet or brick rubbing). The tour is timed and a time keeper blows an air horn to signal the station changes. The Tour Script is available for download in advance.
